10 Months

Another month has gone by and pretty soon my sweet little baby is going to be One!  I can't believe just how fast the time has gone by.  When he was a baby I thought he would never roll over.... and he did!  Then I never thought he would sit up... and he did!  Then I didn't think he would ever crawl... and he did!  Now I just want him to slow down and be my sweet little baby who I could just hold in my arms for hours.  I love watching him develop his cute, sweet little personality!  He is such a joy in my life and I really really can't imagine where I would be with out him.  Life becomes so different when you are a parent.  Every decision you make revolves around one thing.. your children!  Being a mother has made me a better person.  Being Jackson's mom... well... it just makes me AWESOME :-)

Jason... the BIG 30!

I can't believe Jason is in his thirty's! I think it's a great thing! People take your more serious, you seem more wise (because your old), and hanging out with your family becomes more important than hanging with your friends! I had plans to throw Jason a huge party but he told me not to and to save the money. Plus the weekend before he was in Vegas for a bachelor party for 5 days!!!! All week I asked him if he wanted me to get some people together for dinner or drinks and he said no... he had enough to drink while in Vegas! So of course, Thursday night, he decides he wants to do something. I sent out a big text inviting everyone to come to a local bar/restaurant Cedar Creek at 3:00 on Saturday. I ordered a cookie cake, and Jackson and I got up and left the house to get the cake and balloons... a very hard task to to with a baby! We had a pretty good turn out for a last minute party! Plus Jason got to hang out with Jackson which is all he wanted to do for his birthday anyways :-) See... it's a 30 thang!
