Has it really been a year? Time has flown by... I guess because we have been having so much fun with our sweet little boy! This year has been the most rewarding, amazing, hard, happy, tiring, busiest year of my life! We have so much to be thankful for and I am so grateful to my husband and sweet sweet baby for making my life what it is today! I can remember holding Jackson for the fist time in my arms and how incredible it felt.
Jackson's birthday was Friday so we threw him a party on Saturday at Grandpa and Nona's (Jason's dad and step mom). The part was a lot of work but I think it all came together quite well! We grilled burgers and hot dogs and had a bunch of dips out for people to snack on. We went over and beyond on the dessert table... check it out!
Jenn made sugar cookies... they are more orange than pink! Jenn and her friend Whitney are going into the baking business in Austin!
I bought this owl on Etsy and currently use it at home to hold my wooden spoons and spatulas
Chocolate Cupcakes!
I made the cake (I'm sure you can tell) and Jenn made the owl to sit on top out of fondant
It turned out really cute! She made the sugar cookies to match Jackson's candle
rice crispy owl pops covered in chocolate
I had these canvas's printed and thought they would be great to display at his party
I made the birthday banner out of card stock
How cute is my angel
