Bahama Mama

Last Thursday I took a quick trip to the Bahamas. I've been working on a house there for almost two years now... my how time flies! The house is looking amazing and it is so wonderful to see all my design ideas come to life. I can't wait to start picking out furniture and fabrics! There was also a celebrity poker tournament going on at the Atlantis and I was on the hunt to find a few! Thursday night I met Jade who was a 2008 playboy playmate and was also on the MTV sow The Hills. She was actually really nice and much prettier in person... not to mention quite tall! I never feel like a short girl but I did next to her! The following night we met Vern Troyer who played "mini me" in the Austin Powers movies. He is soooooo tiny! I swear he is about the same size as Jackson just with a larger head! Look for more post down the road to see the progress on the house.

Merry Christmas! Bring it on 2011!!!!

I can't believe another year has flown by. At this time last year I was newly pregnant and had no idea how much my life was about to change! Being a mom is the hardest job in the world but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can't believe that Jackson is almost 6 months old and that we will be celebrating his 1st birthday this coming summer. Time sure does fly by!!!!

We had a great first Christmas as a family. Christmas eve day we spent time with my family and that evening we were the holy family in our Christmas Eve service at our church. Jackson was a fantastic baby Jesus! I was so worried that he would cry but he did great! Christmas day we went to Jason's grandmothers house and had a wonderful lunch with his family. His dad, step mom and brother came by the house after to open presents at our house. Jackson loved his new light up toys! We then went over to Jason's mom's house to spend time with the Sargent family and Logan cooked a ton of yummy food! All in all it was a great first family Christmas with Jackson. I can't wait till he gets older and really gets into the present opening and Santa! Here are a few pictures from our first Christmas with Jackson:

My new year's resolution is the obvious... loose the rest of the baby weight and tone up! AND a few other things I want to work on in the new year:

1. Spend more time with my family

2. Spend time teaching Jackson and enjoy all the tiny milestones!!!

3. Take a ton of photos of Jackson with my new camera

4. Save money to buy a house/ or add on to our current home

5. Win the lotto

6. Be a better wife

7. Work on my cleaning skills!!!!!!!

8. Be the BEST MOM EVER!!!

So it has been a while since I have posted... but I have a good reason! My little guy has been taking up all of my time! Not to mention I am back at work for a few weeks decorating all of my clients beautiful homes for Christmas. I promise to post pictures soon! My 1st Photo Shoot

On July 24th we took Jackson's newborn photos. He was just 9 days old and this was actually his due date. An old friend of mine came in town from Austin to take the pictures and what a trooper she was... She is expecting her 3rd baby! I'm so grateful that she was able to come to Houston to capture these precious moments of our beautiful son. He's here!

Well he has been here! Jackson is 3 weeks old today... my how the time flies by! Jackson Luke was born July 15th at 5:16 pm and weighed in at 8lbs 8.5oz and was 20.5"L. He is such a blessing and Jason and I couldn't love him more! I also found that my relationship with Jason has changed... for the better! I never thought I could love him more. Then when our son was born my love grew even stronger for him. I can't even explain it! We created this beautiful boy together and he has brought so much love into our home and our hearts! Here are a few pictures of his arrival.
