Texas Blue Bonnets

This morning my neighbor Ashley, her friend Nadia, and our three boys went to T.C. Jester to take pictures in the blue bonnets.  I got sooooo many great pictures of Jackson it was really hard to decide which were my favorites... so I am posting a bunch!  Hopefully next weekend I can find a patch in Austin to take pictures of Jackson and Taylor together.  Keep an eye out for them Jenn!

Discovery Green

The other day Jackson, Granny Nanny, Logan, Trey, and I headed out to the zoo. We left around 9:30 knowing that they would probably be busy since it was spring break but we had no idea that EVERYONE who lived in Houston decided to go that day! Jackson and I drove around forever trying to find a parking spot and decided if it was this busy in the parking lot that it was sure to be a "zoo" inside! SO I suggested we go to Discovery Green for a bit. We walked around for awhile and then ventured into this tiny little mall downtown that basically consisted of a food court, Hallmark, Dressbarn, and a sports store. Although they didn't have much shopping it was still neat to find this place I never knew existed! The food court had everything under the sun! The place was packed with business men and women... we really looked out of place in our shorts and zoo gear!! Here are a few pictures from the park. Enjoy!

Today we went to the park for my friend Tori's little boy Ryder's birthday, who turned 5.  The weather was beautiful, although we could have used a little less wind- but no complaining!  I brought a few toys to keep Jackson entertained!

We had a great day, and I can't wait to take him to the park again.  We need to enjoy this weather now before summer arrives and it gets to hot to be outside!  Hope everyone had as great of a weekend as we did!

a party for Maygan

This past weekend a group of us went to Austin to celebrate my friend Maygan's upcoming wedding. She is actually moving to Paris tomorrow :-( BUT I am so happy for her!  We had one last amazing girls weekend full of wine, food, and fun!  A little drama but what else do you expect when 11 girls get together!!!  We went on the Hill Country Wine Tour by party bus to Spicewood, Driftwood, and the Duchman Family Winery's.  We had a great time sampling all the wine!  Here are a few pictures from our trip
